The Pink Fringe designed by Lucy Sanderson proposes a tactile approach to privacy in an open plan working landscape, by absorbing frequencies of sound while exploring the relationship between hair and intimacy. The Pink Fringe references adolescence, and the symbolic nature of hair used as a disguise, its playful nature encourages serendipity in the workplace. The Pink Fringe creates a bold juxtaposition of a private gesture in a public place and a temporary form of escapism.

The Pink Fringe has grown and will be a permanent meeting space at Howick Place, launching in October 2015. An interior designed by Ab Rogers Design.
